If we bake the color corrections in the EXR it would remove the main benefit of using EXR, its dynamic range. That is the reason why we do not bake color corrections in EXR - they clamp the dynamic range. If you want to have embedded color corrections I would suggest to use .jpg or .png as output files.
Additionally please post or diffent suggestions as separate ideas(in your case the Lens effects already exists https://chaosvantage.ideas.aha.io/ideas/VANTAGE-I-17) so we can track them better and voting becomes easier. Thank you!
