Many assets imported from external software into 3ds Max are imported as Physical Material.
Since VRay already has a conversion to convert Physical Material to VRayMtl, it might be useful if Vantage could also interpret basic Physical Materials as renderable VRay Materials.
I undestand that a full conversion from one material type to another could be a huge task, but in most cases (if not in all cases) the imported Physical Materials are not too complex: only have a few bitmaps directly assigned to Diffuse, Bump, Reflection etc. maps for example, without any complex node graph.
If these most simple interpretations could be implemented into Vantage, it would be quite useful, so one does not have to take care of any further conversions.
