Currently only bitmaps are supported for opacity in Vantage. Adding support for procedural textures such a noise, gradient, falloff, etc will enable achieving more complex results.
Implementation of VRayDistanceTex map (V-Ray distance texture)
I really would like to see VRayDistanceTex map implemented in Chaos Vantage. We do a lot of street animations and this would we very useful for pedestrian crossings etc.
In our studio we use Corona color correct over almost all our materials to fine tune but once we go to Vantage the materials do not show. Only once we remove the color correct they are visible but obviously not with the corrections required. This ...
