It would be giga-helpful, to environment and hard surface creation if you add displacement or maybe even parallax occlusion mapping support to decals!
I'd like to extend this idea to be able to use parallax occlusion mapping for regular materials as well. Like in FStorm, being able to just use a displacement map for parallax mapping is sometimes a real life saver.
